Specialization
I work with a wide range of social and emotional concerns related to sexuality and gender. These include issues with desire/arousal/orgasm, sexual trauma & abuse, desire differences in couples, enhancing sexual experiences, children's sexual issues, gender therapy & much more. I am committed to providing a context that is confidential and safe and my practice is welcoming & affirming to everyone. I am also actively involved in developing and writing and teaching about innovative approaches to sex therapy and gender therapy.
Philosophy
Therapy is about possibilities: possibilities for overcoming challenges and possibilities for pursuing hopes and dreams. For therapists, this is incredibly exciting work, as we are graciously invited to join in peoples life journeys in ways where we are given opportunities to be helpful as well as inspired.
