Philosophy
I specialize in romantic relationship concerns including therapy for infidelity, sex and intimacy, individual and couples therapy with a focus on rebuilding connection, communication, and conflict management skills. In 2009, I worked at the Anna Freud Centre in London, UK with an emphasis on attachment in relationships and have completed more than 20 trainings in couples and relationship therapy since that time. My post-graduate education in sex therapy is from the University of Michigan and I am an infidelity recovery therapist from Beyond Affairs Network. I have extensive training in couples and relationship therapy including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Levels 1-3, Imago Therapy and NVC techniques. I value continuing education and collaboration with experts in the field and have a background in clinical research which assists me in teaching evidence-based tools to my clients. I am proud to say I’m a lifelong learner and see the benefits in my therapy sessions. I enjoy hearing how well my clients are doing and seeing their progress in treatment!
