Specialization

I specialize in working with couples that are struggling with relationship and intimacy issues. I have extensive experience in working with men who are dealing with ED and PE. I also have experience working with women who are struggling with low sexual desire, vaginal pain during intercourse, and an inablity to orgasm. I am able to work with straight, gay and bi-sexual individuals and couples.I am a certified IMAGO Relationship Therapist as well as a Certified Sex Therapist. I have been in private practice since 1991. I am also fluent in American Sign Language.

Philosophy

My approach is a humanistic one, where I look at the person as a whole. I take into consideration the persons life story as well as their current physical, personal and social situations. I believe that we all have a story to tell and that our life experiences serve as a template for how we view things and respond to situations. With increased awareness of ourselves and our partners (if applicable) we can then make more effective choices that lead to a deeper level of understanding of ourselves and others. This in turn leads to increased happiness and satisfaction with the relationships we have in our life.
