About

Currently practicing via Zoom only, limited hours, clients in Pennsylvania or New Mexico only at this time.

Specialization

I enjoy working with couples and individuals who are troubled by sexual dysfunctions including low sexual desire and difficulties with erection or orgasm. I work with lesbian and gay, bisexual, and transgendered, as well as heterosexual couples and individuals. I also have professional experience with sexual abuse, having worked both with survivors and offenders as well as families torn by incest. I am trained and experienced in working with people who have developmental disabilities. I can offer hypnotherapy for both individuals and couples as one way to enhance treatment.

Philosophy

I almost always look at sexual difficulties from the perspective of relationships. Sexual problems can't be fully resolved when relationships are troubled. I tend to be very here-and-now oriented and try to help people see the emotional context of their problems. I usually prescribe homework exercises for the individual or couple, because real change must occur at home, not just in the consulting room.

Hours

I am accepting a limited number of clients from New Mexico or Pennsylvania, via telehealth only (Zoom). I am not yet licensed in New York.
