Specialization

Helping individuals and couples who want better and more intimate relationships but are having difficulty figuring out how to do that on their own. This includes, but is not limited to sexual concerns or problems- for instance: concerns about low or no desire, arousal, performance, satisfaction, or lovemaking skills; concerns about body image and/or physical changes (weight, size, menopause, pregnancy, aging, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction); concerns about medical conditions (high risk pregnancy, cancer, infertility, pain, surgery, STI’s); concerns about trust, safety, trauma or life experiences that are confusing or shaming; concerns about gender identity or sexual orientation; concerns about alternative life style choices; and concerns around sexual compulsivity.

Philosophy

The goal of Sex Therapy is a more fulfilling quality of life that includes the safety, comfort and pleasures of sexuality and/or intimacy- whether you are partnered or single. Most times it is uncomfortable for people to talk meaningfully about their sexual or intimacy concerns. A Sex Therapist can help by providing an atmosphere of non-judgmental, compassionate understanding to help you clarify what you really want and need so you can have your most fulfilling relationships. We work collaboratively to shift away from frustration, disappointment, pressure, anger, guilt and hurt- to love, intimacy, connection, openness, honesty, trust, acceptance, and joy.

Hours

Monday through Friday; with some evening appointments available. You may call for an appointment anytime. Just leave a message and I will get back with you as soon as I can.
